Its founders, Robbert Becker and John Trapman, have a combined 30 years of producing experience. Joost Blankenstein

Barking Dog is pleased to be able to represent Joost Blankenstein. His ability to get the most out of a concept, find creative solutions when necessary or create a complete campaign has made him one of Europe's great directors with an eye for fashion. Joost Blankenstein's vision has been credited with increasing C&A's visibility across Europe. Joost is also a great people director and his superior communication skills allow him to find the humanity in every story. Joost graduated from film school in 1991 and has been directing passionately ever since.

Robbert Becker

Robbert Becker, born in Rotterdam, founded and operated Funtracks Recording Services, a chain of audio & video studios. He later moved on to manage an entertainment company, Manhattan Events, organizing business events and shows. The last 15 years has seen Robbert produce/manage a wide range of film and television projects. They include 100+ commercials, children's television and African wildlife documentaries. In 2005, Becker was the Dutch producer on the feature film Daisy directed by Andrew Lau.

John Trapman

John Trapman born in Canada co-founded BT Barbizon Film in 1990 and produced more than 100 commercials for clients including Heineken, Texaco, Van Nelle as well as music videos and television drama. In 2001 he joined Robbert Becker and started Barking Dog Films. Together they have produced a host of commercials for national and international clients. Internationally Trapman produced the music documentary Festival Express which was released worldwide in 2004. In 2005, Trapman was the Dutch producer on the feature film Daisy directed by Andrew Lau. In 2008, John associate-produced renowned US independent director Abel Ferrara's new film Chelsea On The Rocks, which had its world premiere at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.

Rene Gregory

Rene Gregory, born in Hilversum and as a child lived all over the world. After his law studies and BA in marketing, Rene worked at account for several leading agencies on international accounts for through-the-line campaigns. Rene is our 24/7 hands on creative account manager with a passion for TV production, advertising and retail. Amongst other campaigns Rene has teamed with Joost working on C&A productions for more than 5 years.
